Zervos Lawyers is seeking a motivated and commercially minded Hospitality & Commercial Lawyer to join our established Commercial and Hospitality, Liquor & Gaming team.
This role is suited to a lawyer with 3–5 years’ post-admission experience, who has demonstrated exposure to hospitality-focused commercial work, including business transactions, leasing, liquor licensing and gaming.
About the Role
This is a commercial role with a strong focus on hospitality, liquor licensing, gaming and property-related matters.
You will be involved in matters including:
- Sale and purchase of hospitality businesses and licensed venues
- Liquor licensing and gaming matters, including applications, transfers and compliance
- Commercial and retail leasing, including negotiations and assignments for hospitality venues
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements
- Structuring and general commercial advisory work for hospitality operators
You will have direct client contact, meaningful responsibility on files and the opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers on high-quality, industry-specific matters.
The experience we are looking for
3–5 years’ post-admission experience, with demonstrated exposure to:
- Hospitality and licensed premises
- Liquor licensing and/or gaming
- Commercial or retail leasing
- Business sale and purchase transactions
Candidates at this level are expected to have practical familiarity with hospitality and licensing work.
