Nicolas Zervos is regarded as a highly respected specialist lawyer in the areas of hospitality, liquor licensing, gaming and commercial law.
He was admitted into practice in 1980. Nicolas is a hands-on lawyer who represents a large number of commercial clients. At the same time, he has built a comprehensive and strong legal team who are renowned for their client service and expertise.
The firm has maintained strong and ongoing relationships with its established clients. Nicolas adopts the view that a client’s interests need to be preserved and that it is important for lawyers to have a full appreciation and understanding of the businesses conducted by clients.
Nicolas’ experience has not been limited to private practice and he has been actively involved in the hospitality industry, but also has been a Melbourne City Councillor and Assistant Commissioner to the Liquor Licensing Commission. He is fully aware of the regulatory framework governing liquor and gaming in Victoria. He is able to provide first hand advice in order to ensure that clients’ objectives are met.
Nicolas has acted on behalf of clients in a number of large high profile sales and acquisitions of businesses and freehold transactions in Victoria.
Nicolas says that hospitality law is an area that transcends all aspects of a commercial transaction and as a consequence, he has a comprehensive knowledge of all areas of commercial law. This has also transcended into the ethos of the firm, which is a recognised legal practice in the areas of commercial, hospitality and liquor licensing law.
Nicolas has had an extensive involvement in a number of Greek Community organisations. He is currently a Director on the Board of the Hellenic Museum.
