Zervos Lawyers is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Operations Manager to oversee the firm’s internal systems, people processes and operational performance.
This role is suited to a senior operations professional who has demonstrated the ability to implement structure, enforce standards and deliver consistent outcomes within a professional services environment.
About the Role
This is a senior operational leadership role with responsibility for the firm’s people management, systems, compliance and internal governance.
You will be involved in matters including:
- Managing staff onboarding, training, performance management and offboarding
- Maintaining accurate leave, attendance and resourcing systems
- Implementing and enforcing firm policies, procedures and workflows
- Overseeing practice management systems, including LEAP
- Liaising with IT providers and external service partners
- Supporting recruitment and workforce planning
- Assisting with budget tracking, forecasting and expense management
- Supporting the accounts team and leadership with financial oversight
- Coordinating internal compliance and risk management processes
- Overseeing operational delivery of internal communications and marketing initiatives
You will work closely with the Principal and senior leadership to ensure management decisions are implemented consistently, efficiently and without unnecessary escalation.
The Experience & Qualities We Are Looking For
Experience
- Proven experience in operations, practice management, or business management within a legal or professional services environment
- Demonstrated experience managing people, systems, and complex workflows
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting
- Familiarity with legal practice management systems (LEAP highly regarded)
- Understanding of regulatory, compliance and governance obligations
Candidates at this level are expected to have practical experience operating in structured, performance-driven environments.
